Securing your doors and windows will improve your home security by deterring would-be intruders and reducing the likelihood of forced entry being made if attempted. Consider installing the following:

·         Window locks or security shutters/grilles on all windows.

·         Deadlocks on all externally accessible doors. 

Important Note:  Your door is only as secure as the door frame - consider a steel door frame and ensure hinge pins are either welded in place or not accessible from outside.
